our story
Our journey started with a simple yet powerful mission: to support children with disabilities and chronic illnesses during COVID-19 and natural disasters.
Born from Special Achievers, the Mbrace Project is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children face various challenges. We assist those with learning disabilities and provide crucial support to children battling cancer and other chronic illnesses.
Together, we aim to create a brighter, more inclusive future for every child in need.
Mbrace scholars
We’re supporting 30 kids from kindergarten to Grade 12 with their studies. Donors receive monthly letters and updates on their progress.
hero
drivers
We provide transportation for pediatric cancer patients to their chemo appointments during community quarantine. Superheroes need rides too.
give back
packs
We give out backpacks filled with school supplies, art materials, and COVID safety kits for kids heading to hospitals or schools. By November 2023, we’ve shared 550 packs.
expression
therapy
We offer free art therapy for kids with disabilities. It's a creative way to explore feelings, boost self-esteem, relax, and manage anxiety and physical challenges.
medical &
financial aid
We assist kids and families with medical and financial support, especially during tough times like the pandemic. We’re always ready to help.
annual
gift-giving
Every holiday season, we team up with our wonderful donors to make kids' wishes come true. By December 2023, we’ve fulfilled over 653 holiday wishes.
mission
A world that embraces every child with a disability so they can have access to quality care and treatment.
vision
Improve the lives of children with disabilities, cancer & other chronic conditions from low-income families through earlier diagnosis, correct information, effective treatment, and support.
